Steve Earle - Copperhead Road (Official Video)

When I worked out in Pierre, South Dakota, we had one man in the office from Tennessee, Grover Hickman.  This man had a southern accent you could bounce a hatchet off of, and he was always up for one thing or another.  Well, just put a dozen men in cube hell and see what you get.  Someone's always pulling something on somebody, just to get everything spun up a little.  We got Grover spun up one day by having Fred telling him there were no mountains in Tennessee.

"Why, they iz to mountains in Tenny-see!  How can you say they ain't no mountains when they iz?"

"Easy.  There aren't any mountains in Tennessee.  See?"

"You don't know what yore talkin' 'bout!", and he was off.  When he started slowing down, I decided to help him out.

"I think they're called the Appalacian Mountains."

"Yeah!   How about a little range called the Appalacians?" Grover fired himself up again, although in all honesty I'm not one hundred percent convinced that he actually knew the name of the range until I volunteered it.  He was like that.

But one thing Grover did know was the unofficial theme song for the State of Tennessee - Copperhead Road, by Steve Earl. Here you go:

I think it's time for a martini.
