In 1941 President Franklin D. Roosevelt as national Bill of Rights Day. Anyone not employed by the government should get this as a paid holiday; government workers, and in particular elected officials, should report to work as usual but should work for free; that is, this would be an unpaid work day for them. Kind of a way of paying back the Great Unwashed (Deplorables and Non-Deplorables alike) for the cushy jobs they hold.
If you'd like to peruse the Bill of Rights, you may do so at the Cornell University Law School - Legal Information Institute. I think these days we should be paying particular attention to the freedom of speech.
