Meet Pip Squeak

It seems that I've acquired a new kitten.  Meet Pip Squeak, a real survivor.

I subscribe to NextDoor, a social media site similar to FaceBook, Twitter, Gab, or any one of a hundred similar services.  About a week ago I saw a post from From Helen Murrietta:

Neighbors!!

SHAME ON YOU if you have animals and just throw them out in the streets!!

I was driving down  livingston on my way home when i found an abandoned kitten in the lane about to get run over!

I rescued him and took him to the animal hospital and the Dr said it’s a boy, about 6 weeks old

he bit his lip and had his tooth stuck which she took care of however i can’t keep this baby kitten being that i have a really hyper puppy.. If you or anyone you know is willing to take him to in and love him the way he deserves please reach out to me ASAP!! i’ve tried 5 different shelters and everything is completely maxed out, i don’t have the heart some of you to to just leave him outside.. please please reach out asap!!

Then I saw a post from another user, Kay Davis:
I can pick him up in the morning and take him to my vet.
Kay picked the kitten up, then discovered that her husband objected to the new family addition.  Kay asked for a home, and I volunteered.

The kitten came with a litter box, litter, a bottle of dry kitten formulae (just add warm water), and a selection of canned kitten food.  So here we all are.

He seems to like life in the cat tree.  He also enjoys being petted, and will sit on my lap for a while.  He's quite talkative, mainly when he wants food or attention.

So there we have it.  My brother Bob contributed to his name, Pip Squeak, which I think is suitable.  My thanks to Helen and Kay for rescuing him.
